Consistent hard work leads to success and greatness will follow.’ I feel immensely honored to welcome you all to the online portal of Dharmanand Uniyal Government Degree College, Narendranagar, Tehri-Garhwal. Since its inception in 2006, the College has always strived to work towards achieving academic excellence along with holistic development of the students. Over the years, college has progressed by adapting to the need of the hour. The Covid Pandemic that shook the entire world adversely affected the education sector and teaching fraternity all over the globe had to adapt unconventional methods of teaching. In order to keep up with the modern techniques of imparting knowledge, the college successfully adapted various virtual and digital techniques of teaching for the benefit of students. The college empowers students from diverse socio-economic background by enhancing multi-dimensional development of students through various student support programs like NSS, Career Counseling and Capacity Development programs. Various co-curricular activities are actively organized by different departments for the overall development of students. Several Seminars and workshops of academic and professional significance are also conducted for knowledge sharing. Along with traditional degree programs the college despite of being located in adverse geographical environment, boasts of being the only government college in the entire region to provide professional courses like BA(Hons)HJMC, BATM, BBA, BCA and BSC (Home Science) at a very nominal fee structure. This comes as a huge opportunity to students from the nearby regions and from economically weaker section to develop their career in these professional streams. The College is blessed with all the modern infrastructural facilities including Hi-Tech Computer Lab for holistic development of students. With a dedicated team of academic and administrative staff we look forward to attain our organizations mission and vision and facilitate in nurturing young minds.
